Human Cancer Biomarker Panel Service

Description

Cancer biomarkers are substances produced directly by tumor cells or by non-tumor cells induced by tumor cells. For the detection of tumor markers can make a judgment on tumor existence, pathogenesis and prognosis.

One of the major challenges in cancer prevention and treatment is early diagnosis and effective intervention. Finding cells in a certain physiological state, biochemical or molecular changes will be able to serve as markers to detect and evaluate biological processes. For example, when a normal cell transforms into a cancerous state, biomarkers can send key molecular signals for diagnosis, prognosis, and the development of more effective treatments.

While there are a number of individual biomarkers that are critical to the research diagnosis of cancer, a single biomarker is unlikely to serve as decisive clinical data on the nature or progression of the disease. In contrast, a combination of biomarkers can provide more sensitive and targeted information for accurate diagnosis or prognosis.

Creative Proteomics offers several optional Luminex Human Cancer Biomarker Panels to study cancer biomarkers in serum, plasma, urine and cell supernatants. We base on Luminex xMAP technology to achieve ideal speed and sensitivity for simultaneous quantification of multiple analytes, significantly increasing productivity and saving valuable sample volumes. Analyzing multiple analytes together is an important tool for researchers to be able to measure cancer biomarkers simultaneously, sort out these relationships, and apply them to understanding tumor biology.
